Hagen's Travel & Cruises History
In 1937, Mr. Baard Hagen operated a delicatessen in New Westminster, BC. In those days it was customary for the steamship lines to appoint prominent businessmen as their representatives. Since Mr. Hagen was an influential Norwegian businessman with strong ties to the ethnic community, Norwegian and Swedish America Lines appointed Mr. Hagen as their representative.
From these modest beginnings Hagen’s Travel & Cruises has grown to be in the forefront as one of the most respected names in travel within British Columbia, Canada. Proud to be “The Original Cruise Experts”, Hagen’s Travel & Cruises now boasts 8 offices and employs 40 people.
